AGE-APPROPRIATE VOCAL TRAINING

Our focus is beautiful singing! Children are taught basic vocal technique and encouraged to develop the beautiful sound of their own instrument using age-appropriate repertoire.

MUSIC LITERACY

The ability to read and write music is essential to comprehensive musicianship. We use the Kodály Method to teach children the rhythmic, melodic, and general music concepts that form the foundation and build toward music literacy.

PERFORMANCE

Students work toward a culminating performance, presenting their hard work for an audience. Performing builds confidence, self-esteem, and poise under pressure. Along the way, students learn to be a respectful audience member and give constructive feedback.
